You have to go to the toggery card store and see how much each card costs if you haven't already done so. There will be something next to each card that says, "T-#" the # is the number of togs a card costs to purchase. Then after you have added up the cost for both of your cards head over to the toggery card purchase.

I don't understand Twitter's appeal, but they're used to the instant gratification of application games on their phones and Facebook.

Games that actually require people to keep making updates just to keep the game going aren't generating as much interest because players have no patience anymore.

The tournament registration rule is to replace the "five togs for registering" to avoid the need to remove togs/cards from players who register but do not play. Pre-existing players who register for tournaments will receive their 5 togs at the conclusion of the tournament providing they fully participate.

The only reason new players are given this bonus pre-completion of tournament is to give them a fighting chance in the tournament, and to give them the same chance everyone received before the new rules. :)

2011-10-26 [Stephen]: Special Rule: If there is a tournament registration going on and you are a new register, you may add "Register for Tourney" after your username if there is free space in the "Definite Places" section of the Tourney Registration. This will allow you to choose a total of three (3) cards worth a total of twenty (20) Togs (example: 2 Starter cards and 1 Group 1 card). Normal non-tourney registration allows for three (3) cards worth fifteen (15) Togs (3 Starter Cards). You still must choose a total of three cards or your choices will be made for you at random.

Jesus. To be honest, Toggery is an enormous project and since [Bookwyrm] retired, I don't have the time to run it single handed. Unfortunately, I don't know of anyone who I could assign it to that would know its workings without me having to explain it all; which would take almost as long as doing it myself.


It'll get done, but I can't give a timeframe as to when. There's not a lot of seeming interest in Toggery. If you guys can get your friends interested, however, and people seem to want to play and collect cards, I can move it up in my priority list.
